Thanksgiving is a SuperPower

1st Thess. 5:18 – “In every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”

The acronym for T H A N K S:

T – Think. If you know how to think, you will know how to thank God.

H – Have a heart always ready to praise God for His goodness. Thank Him in the morning, afternoon, night, in bad & good times, at all times, because that is the will of God for us. Eph. 5:19

A – Appreciate. Make gratitude a part of your interactions with other people.

N – Never complain! Complaints will only complicate your matter.

K – Keep a journal. No matter how minute, keep track of everything. We, the children of God, are quick to forget what God has done. Keep records. 

S – Sacrifice of thanksgiving to God. Psalm 95:1-6. By singing, dancing, shouting, clapping, giving to His work, testifying to His goodness, kneel-down, prostrate, stretched out with face on the ground in adoration or submission, etc

So brethren, stay calm, be confident; be courageous as you make thanksgiving your life line to God and your number one spiritual weapon against the schemes of a relent-less enemy.

And may the Lord accept our thanks , in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.
